LAVA Image Processing

Image processing is used to interpret, analyze and manipulate 2-D images for such operations as image enhancement, image registration, pattern analysis and texture mapping.

LAVA can be used to apply texture mapping filters which manipulate the 2-D raster before being applied as a texture. One can see from these simple Tau algebraic functions which affect the pixel's values, more complex operations, like morphing could be applied.
